Allotments

Stoke Goldington Allotments are situated on sloping land between the High Street and Mount Pleasant, at the North end of the village. The allotment site has a public footpath, know locally as Garden Wells, running through the middle of it which links Mount Pleasant to the High Street.

There are around 20 plots, administration of which is managed by elected members of the Stoke Goldington Allotment Association. The rent is paid annually, in advance, in September.

There is a small parking area for plot holders at the top of the allotments in Mount Pleasant and although there is no mains water available plot holders make use of an old well at the bottom of the allotments, hence the footpath is known locally as Garden Wells, and a water container which is filled by a solar pump from the well.
